Admission for B.E Four Year Degree Course

Mahant Bachittar Singh College of Engineering & Technology has been conceived and established as a MINORITY INSTITUTION with approved sanctioned intake of 300 students. The Institution admits students in various courses sanctioned by AICTE in two quotas of equal weightage i.e.150 students in Government of J&K quota and 150 in Minority quota.

  1. For filling up 150 seats against Government Quota, the Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (BOPEE), J&K announces a detailed programme through its Information Brochure and related notifications for the conduct of Common Entrance Test. On the basis of merit in Common Entrance Test, BOPEE allocates institutions & disciplines to the selected candidates. Candidate should seek instructions from BOPEE regarding their selection in MBSCET and decision of BOPEE is binding on the candidates.
  2. 150 seats reserved for Sikh candidates are designated as the Minority For admission against these seats, SIKH candidates are required to appear separately for MBS Minority Seats Entrance Test which is to be conducted by Chairman, Constitutional Permanent Supervisory and Monitoring Committee. All the eligible Sikh candidates will have to apply for admission to MBSCET against MINORITY seats separately. The candidates will be selected for admission on the basis of their merit in MBS Minority Seats Entrance Test- 2016 and selected candidate will be allotted discipline during the counseling sessions at MBSCET for which separate notification will be issued by the College authorities after the declaration of results of MBS Minority Seats Entrance Test.

Admission for Master of Computer Application

The Admission of M.C.A is based on JUET Entrance test conducted by Jammu University. Allotment of the course is done by the Department of Computer Science & IT Jammu University. for detail Jammu University
